Généralités sur le pays :

Le ghana est un Etat de l’Afrique de l’Ouest limité au Nord par le Burkina Faso, à l’Ouest par la Côte d’ivoire, à l’Est par le Togo, et au Sud par l’Océan Atlantique.

La capitale, Accra est la ville la plus peuplée du pays avec environ 25.241.998 habitants en 2012, elle constitue le centre politique, administratif, économique et financier du pays.

Le décalage horaire entre le ghana et la France est de -1 heure en hiver et de -2 heures en été.

Concernant le taux de change de ce pays, 1 GHC (Ghana cedis) correspond à 0.40372 euro et à 0.527625USD (United States Dollars).

Indicateurs de croissance et de développement humain:

Le PIB/HBT est estimé à 1735 dollars/habitant. L’indice du coût de la vie, c'est-à-dire l’indicateur de la cherté du pays est de 41,6. Cet indice est de base 100.

L’indice de développement humain est de 0,556, c’est un indicateur complet des aspects économiques et sociaux d’un pays.

Les moyens de paiement :

Les banques au ghana sont ouvertes de 8h30 à 14h du lundi au jeudi et de 8h30 à 15h le vendredi. Les bureaux de change acceptent l’euro, le dollar et la livre sterling. Les chèques de voyage et les cartes de crédit sont également acceptés.

La devise de ce pays est le cedi. Pour certains achats cependant, le dollar est utilisé. Mon loyer par exemple est payé en dollar.

Courant électrique :

Le courant est de 220 volts. En général les prises sont à 2 fiches, sauf dans les immeubles récents ou les nouvelles maisons où elles sont dotées de trois fiches. Il vaut donc mieux prendre un adaptateur. Ainsi dans tous les cas, on est sûr de pouvoir brancher ses appareils sans problème.

Ghana is a state in West Africa bordered at the north by Burkina Faso, at the west by the Ivory Coast, at the east by Togo and at the south by the Atlantic Ocean.

The capital, Accra is the most populous city in the country with about 25,241,998 inhabitants in 2012; it is the political, administrative, financial and economic center of the country.

Means of payment:

Banks in Ghana are open from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 am to 15:00 Friday. Exchange offices accept the euro, the dollar and the pound sterling. Travel’s checks and credit cards are also accepted.

Electric current:

The current is 220 volts. Usually power collectors are like inFrance i.e. they have two holes, except in new buildings or new homes where they have three holes like in London. So, it is better to take an adapter. Thus, in all cases, you can connect your devices without problem.
