Comment se déplacer au ghana?

On distingue huit types de transport au ghana :

Tout d’abord, pour circuler dans la ville, on dispose de TRO-TRO : Ce sont des sortes de mini-bus (voir photo ci-contre), qui sont un mode de locomotion peu chère et pratique pour se déplacer aisément en ville. Donc si vous ne voulez pas dépenser beaucoup pour vos déplacements, les trotros sont fait pour vous !

Il ya également le vélo qui est un mode de transport urbain pour se déplacer et se promener dans la ville.

On peut aussi se déplacer en voiture personnelle, les routes sont en effet praticables dans les lieux les plus fréquentés autrement dit les grands axes du pays, mais elles sont parfois peu praticables dans les zones reculées et dans les périphéries. Il est possible de louer un véhicule avec chauffeur pour se déplacer dans la ville.

Les taxis sont également un mode de locomotion pour se déplacer dans la ville, ceux-ci ne disposent pas de compteur, il est donc conseillé de négocier le prix avant de monter en voiture.sinon gare à la surprise!

Les conducteurs de taxi sont en effet très malins surtout s’ils se rendent compte que vous êtes étrangers et que vous ne parlez pas très nettement la langue, vous pouvez facilement vous faire avoir !

Les bus sont également un mode de locomotion pratique. Ceux-ci desservent la plupart des grandes villes du pays.

Les trains par ailleurs sont lents mais confortables. Le réseau est très restreint et relie les villes de Sekondi-Takooradi à Accra et Kumasi située au sud du ghana.

Les bateaux quand à eux naviguent sur le lac Volta entre Akosombo (ville dans l’est du ghana dans la région orientale) et Yeji (Nord est du ghana), ce sont des moyens de transport lents mais agréables.

Des compagnies aériennes d'autre part, proposent des vols à des prix acceptables entre Accra, Takooradi, Kumasi et Tamale soit les grandes villes du pays.

Taximans are indeed very smart especially when they realize that you are a foreigner and you do not speak the language very much, you can easily be fooled!
